Michael has over 25 years’ experience in the field of Personnel, administration, executive support, payroll management, performance appraisal, and disciplinary matters.
He specialises in the administration of Parental Leave, Retirement, Accidents, Health & Safety, and has well-developed analytical and organisational skills.
Accuracy and attention to detail have always been the hallmarks of his work, and he is especially competent in the completion of multifaceted tasks within time constraints.
Michael holds a diploma from the OBS (Open University). He is ideally equipped as a Virtual Assistant for small business owners, community groups, associations and individuals.
Since 1999 Hilary has offered top quality administrative and secretarial support to freelancers and small business as well as larger organisations. Happy to work as part of a team or on an individual basis she believes that good communication is vital in order to provide the best possible service to her clients. Creative input is all part of the service as is a fast, efficient turnaround, respect for client confidentiality and an awareness of deadlines. She encourages her clients to be open when discussing their requirements or giving feedback, believing that this is the only way to truly understand their business and the direction they want it to take.
Hilary’s skills have been acquired during more than 20 of working with a wide cross section of professional business people in a range of industries from manufacturing and construction to legal and IT. She is, therefore, confident when dealing with personnel at all levels. Hilary’s reliability, flexibility and commitment to her work have meant that her roles have consistently expanded. The diversity of her past work has covered everything from answering the telephone and stock taking to invoicing for more than £1m of company revenue and the responsibility for introducing new, more efficient ways of working.
Heather specialises in providing a comprehensive secretarial service to individuals and small businesses. She has a wealth of secretarial experience ranging from working as PA to a medical Professor to producing television transmission schedules at Yorkshire Television, with many 'temping' assignments in between!
More recently, Heather has worked as a computer programmer for a software house, which means she is comfortable with the latest technologies and not afraid of designing / setting up databases. She is also familiar with working under pressure to meet tight deadlines whilst paying attention to detail.
Heather holds an HNC in Computer Studies, the RSA Diploma for Personal Assistants, and RSA Stage III Typing.
Carol has over 25 years Secretarial, Administrative and Accounting experience. She has worked in national and international organisations supporting senior and higher management.
Carol’s last four years of employment was with a large International Pharmaceutical organisation with over 2,000 staff worldwide and the fifth largest Health Care Company in the USA. Her role was Senior PA for the Clinical Operation’s Director for over three years and the last six months as Administrative Manager for the London Office.
Carol has recently qualified for a Professional Business Management Certificate from the Open University Business School.
After many years honing her skills in the corporate office world, Jane is now able to offer a first class administration service for businesses and individuals just when they need it, assisting with one-off projects through to working on a regular retainer basis.
Jane specialises in desktop Publishing and Website Design, as well as all aspects of administration. Jane is responsible and motivated, paying great attention to detail and accuracy. Jane is able to work well under pressure, either alone or as part of a team, a good communicator who responds well to challenges and enjoys learning new skills.
Jane studied fashion and textile design before moving into the graphic design field. After working as a designer for 10 years, Jane then moved into the travel industry where her work covered all aspects of administration. Her final role was as an advance planning executive for Britannia Airways.
Rob has a Post Graduate Diploma in Information Technology and 15 years experience. Rob is currently working freelance as an IT consultant. His skills include:
• IT planning for future business expansion
• information presentation, including production, via website, CDROM, and printed books
• survey design and analysis using statistics software
• project management for bespoke software development
• Microsoft Excel and Access development (customised tools for your business requirements)
